Book Challenge Coin
The capstone project of the book: a fabulous metal coin! In this book, this model begins as a sketch, becomes a reality in resin, and then evolves into metal, foam, and resin reproductions.
Hinged Display Box
A slim box made for holding and displaying challenge coins. The lid uses a pair of “print-in-place” hinges to print as one piece. The lid folds open to reveal the coin and turn into a display stand.

Nuka Cola Bottle Caps
Get rich quick in The Wasteland by making your own Nuka Cola bottle caps from the Fallout universe. The model’s dimensions are as close to bottle real caps as possible, so they print thin. This makes them easy to deform with heat.

A simple design for a reusable mold box with optional sprue and vent inserts. In the book, this box holds the challenge coin mold.

Proton Pack USB Plate
Designing a “proton pack armor plate” might sound complicated, but it’s truly just a box, one of the first things any novice 3D designer will make. This design modifies the plate to include a slot and passthrough for a micro USB port. The design incorporates holes for M3 threaded inserts for a strong mechanical connection.
